1/14/2015 One Painting AfternoonOn Saturday, 10th January 2015, I was so pleased to have a chance to to paint on perfume bottles for Holt Renfrew’s customers. This is a complimentary with the purchase of any perfume at Holt Renfrew in Yorkdale Mall. When I design how to paint these bottles, I think of Wine bottles. Most of the wineries produced different shapes and size of the bottles, while some even hired artists to design their bottle labels. This brings out the uniqueness of the wine itself. For me, instead of painting on the labels, I paint on the perfume bottles themselves. Since memory and smell are intertwined closely, I create an exclusive feeling by using paints, pattern, the color of liquid content and even the glass color. So when the users wear their perfume, the paintings on the bottles will bring up certain memories as well. Comments are closed.
